NEW For 2017-2018: School Tour Transportation Grant:
The Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse is pleased to announce that public and private school groups may apply for a $100 grant when they schedule an onsite group tour during the 2017-2018 school year to help cover the cost of bus transportation to from the historic light station. Funded through the generous contribution of the Paul B. Hunter and Constance D. Hunter Cheritable Foundation, the Preservation Association hopes this generous grant will help defer the cost of transportation that prevents many schools from visiting our wonderful light station and museum.
Limited to one per school, only ten grants are available for the upcoming school year. All transportation grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. School tours must be scheduled prior to applying. Please contact Program Manager Mary Wentzel at (386) 761-1821 ext. 18, or by email at email@example.com for more details. Feedback regarding existing lessons or lessons addressing topics not already covered are encouraged. Please direct all educational related comments to Programs Manager Mary Wentzel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
