Individuals wishing to experience the historic Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station in a private or semi-private setting can choose to schedule a personal tour of the lighthouse in the early morning or evening, or participate in one of the museum’s after-hour social events. Led by the museum’s knowledgeable staff and volunteers, these unique RSVP-only offerings provide guests the opportunity to explore the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum in a unique, entertaining, and interactive way that is not open to the general public. Enjoy a personal tour of the lighthouse and lantern room with one of the museum’s volunteer lighthouse keepers before heading out on the tower’s gallery deck to toast the setting sun and rising full moon with a sparkling beverage and delicious hors d’oeuvres during this unique monthly event.
The Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association provides guided tours for groups of 10 or more throughout the year. General groups include large families, church groups, community-based organizations, and adult/youth-oriented clubs. Requests for guided group tours of the Ponce De Leon Inlet Light Station, Constance D. Hunter Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum, or both must be submitted to the Preservation Association’s Programs Department Manager Zach Hopple via email at zhopple@ponceinlet.org at least two weeks in advance of the group’s intended day of arrival to ensure volunteer docent availability on the specific date requested. Approval of all group tour requests are subject to volunteer and staff availability.
